Alice dos Reis

A selection of books in celebration of the work of science-fiction novelist and world-renown Tarot expert Rachel Pollack. The creator of prolific worlds in which science and sèance seamlessly intermingle, Pollack is a pioneer of feminist and queer fiction. While widely known for her writings on the Tarot, many of her awarded award-winning science-fiction novels have been out of print in recent years. In their honor, this list weaves together some of Pollack’s work with other titles that speak to recurring images and dreams in her novels: of the spiritual, the political, and the marvellous.

Alice dos Reis is an artist and writer who was researching the work of Rachel Pollack while being a Visiting Artist-Researcher at Wendy’s Subway during the summer of 2022.
