Flyer

Flyer
An artist book by Shin Min published along with the exhibition of the same name. For Shin Min, the work process is like producing a kind of alter ego of oneself. As can be seen from the title, this exhibition also started by distributing ‘flyers’ created by the artist to people, with the hope that the leaflets would spread and create new meaning. Just as the dictionary meaning of ‘flyer’ is a piece of paper containing propaganda, advertisements, or inciting writing, the artist’s reason and purpose for making art can also be seen to be strongly conveyed and persuasive. Drawing pictures in the form of scribbles on palm-sized pieces of paper or letters and distributing them to people is the same way subjects communicate with the world and talk to people (Shin Min).
