The ‘Float’ is a publishing series conducted by Hezuk Press. The project invites one artist approximately every three months and provides him/her with 16 pages of space. Invited artists create new works with the print format in mind. The format of the printed material is A4 format, 16 pages, saddle bound. Hejeok Press edits, designs, and produces this. Corner Dialogue is a small but deeply dimensional record of conversations exchanged between books and physical exhibition spaces over the course of a year. Artist Jong Oh has mainly worked in spontaneous responses to given spaces. The Float Series project involved traveling with the artist for a year with a blank notebook. The A4-sized spaces of blank paper opened and closed with suitcases in numerous cities naturally influenced the artist's sculptures. In the end, his sculpture found a new space called a book.
